When you export a Data Table / dashboard with a Data Table to PDF, it seems to automatically limit to a preview of 25 rows, regardless of the size of the widget in. More control over this default limit might be nice for when we generally expect a table to have more than 25 rows & to keep exports / scheduled sends of the dashboard to a single PDF.
Thanks for raising this request, @hannah.paxton! ![]()
Definitely makes sense that you should be able to control the number of rows for your Data Table’s PDF export.
I’ve added it to our product backlog for later improvement. Will get back to you when there’s an update.
Just curious, what is your preferred row limit for the table in your dashboard export?
Thank you, @vu.duong!
Most likely, it would be 100 rows or less.
Noted with thanks, @hannah.paxton !
Will let you know when there’s any update.
For the time being, as a workaround: We have a setting which allows you to export the table in full. There will be no limit to the table rows in your PDF export.
However, this setting will only work for single report export. This means you’ll need to export this table separately, so your recipients can view the entire table.
We can enable this setting for your team from our side, and can turn it off anytime you want. Will this be something you’re interested in trying, Hannah?
Got it, thanks @vu.duong!
Sure, trying that out would be great!
Awesome, Hannah!
I’ve enabled that setting for your team now. When you export any table to PDF as a single report, it should show all rows instead of a 25-row preview.
Please try it, and let me know your thoughts. Cheers!
