Hello everyone!
Have you ever browsed through the list of items, and you have to click into three different items just to check the description? Not anymore! You’ll soon be able to view all details of your datasets and dashboards directly on the Reporting sidebar.
Introducing: Viewing metadata from the sidebar
We’ve supercharged the Reporting sidebar so you can get the context you need:
Before: You had to fully open a dashboard or dataset to find details like the description, owner, or last updated date.
Now: Just hover your mouse over the item in the sidebar, and a helpful little popover instantly displays the key metadata!

Timeline
This feature would be available for the dashboards and datasets for both versions 3.0, 4.0 by the middle of November 2025.
