We’re expanding our copy capabilities :scissors: with Quick Actions in the Canvas Dashboard, which is in the making :hammer_and_wrench: — expect a faster and more intuitive way to reuse content across your dashboards in the upcoming weeks.

What you will get:

:scissors: Full copy operations suite

  • Copy/Paste (available to all same tab, cross-tab, cross-dashboard scenarios)
  • Duplicate
  • Copy To / Move To any tab, dashboard or folder
  • Cut

:keyboard: Keyboard shortcuts: Work at speed with Cmd/Ctrl+C , Cmd/Ctrl+V , Cmd/Ctrl+X , and Cmd/Ctrl+D
:dart: Works across all objects: Available for blocks, groups of blocks, tabs, and dashboards (with context-appropriate actions for each type)
:round_pushpin: Easy access via Context menu: All actions now available in the right-click menu for better visibility.
:brain: Smart mapping behavior No more surprises—mappings now behave consistently whether you’re copying within a tab or across dashboards. Custom mappings are preserved when it makes sense, reset when it doesn’t.
