If you’ve ever restored a past version to fix one dashboard and accidentally rolled back everyone else’s work too, this one’s for you.
We’re working on file-level history and restore: every file in your project gets its own version timeline, so you can trace and roll back a single dashboard or model without touching the rest of the project.
What you’ll be able to do:
- Trace a file’s history - see every version with who changed it, when, and why, and what each version changed.
- Restore just one file - roll a single file back to a past version. Only that file changes; nothing else moves.
- Duplicate to a new file - fork a past version into a new file to compare, leaving your current file untouched.
- Jump to project history - when a change spanned several files, open the full project history to see everything that moved together.
This isn’t out yet - we’re sharing an early look to gauge interest and hear how you’d use it. You can preview what’s coming here: File History & Restore | Holistics Docs (4.0)
