We’re building a lineage graph into the Holistics IDE, and we want to share an early look.
The diagram maps each object’s relationships in both directions: the sources it’s built from and everything that draws on it. When you open a model, dataset, or dashboard, you can select to view lineage in a panel right under your code.
A few things we care about:
- Object and field grain in one view. Check dataset-to-model dependencies for an impact review, or follow a field-to-field path to debug a formula.
- Built into your workflow. Lineage opens right next to your code in the IDE, as part of the edit loop rather than a separate governance tool.
