We’re excited to share an early look at custom homepage, coming later this month. Admins will be able to show a key dashboard right on Home, pin others as buttons, and choose which sections everyone sees.
Why we built this
Many teams create a “start here” dashboard, like a report glossary, KPI overview, or onboarding page. But it sits one click away from Home, so people who only log in occasionally rarely find it. Custom homepage puts it where everyone lands.
What’s coming
- Pinned dashboards: Show one Canvas dashboard in full view on Home and pin others as buttons. Existing pins stay as buttons.
- Section control: Show, hide, or reorder Home’s existing sections: Pinned dashboards, Recents and favorites, and Browse.
- Permissions still apply: Everyone sees featured content through their own permissions and row-level access. If someone doesn’t have access, they won’t see it.
The first version applies one layout to your whole organization. Different homepages for different users or groups may come later.
