This highly requested update is designed to eliminate friction and give you the full power of as-code creation in your private space, faster than ever before.
Why this will be a Game-Changer
Previously, only Quick Dashboards were supported in Personal workspaces. If you wanted to build an as-code Canvas Dashboard privately, you often had to wait for an admin to set up private folders in the Public workspace.
That wait and friction are about to be eliminated.
Once launched, you will have both Quick and Canvas Dashboards in your private space, delivering a completely streamlined workflow:
- Instant start, zero friction: Stop waiting for administrative setup. You’ll have full user autonomy to instantly create and save your private Canvas Dashboards.
- Full Git control: Since Canvas Dashboards are “as-code,” any dashboard you create in your Personal workspace will be instantly trackable, versionable, and manageable using Git.
Timeline
This feature will be available by the end of November 2025.
