Imagine you’re prepping for a business review and want to highlight only the numbers worth calling out. You don’t want to waste the team’s time discussing a data point that dipped slightly but is still within the expected range.
So you start comparing periods manually, trying to build a sense of what “normal” looks like for this metric. But building a real sense of “normal” requires statistical analysis over the metric’s full history, the kind of work that takes analyst expertise and time you don’t have before a meeting. Holistics AI now does that for you, in just a few clicks.
What is it?
Click Analyze in the chart toolbar and select Detect anomaly. The AI panel opens and runs the scan automatically. Holistics AI:
- Looks at the metric’s full history
- Builds an expected range from past data
- And flags any data points that fall meaningfully outside it.
From there, you can save the chart directly to a dashboard to keep monitoring that metric over time.
The Bigger Picture
This is part of Smart Analysis — our effort to make Holistics an active partner in your data investigation. It pairs with Analyze Changes: once you know a movement is statistically unusual, you can dig into exactly what drove it.
