SUM DISTINCT - New Measure Type

I would like to be able to do SUM DISTINCT of a numerical field to sum based on the distinct values of another field (a distinct key, like order_id).

This is an available measure type in Looker: Measure types  |  Looker  |  Google Cloud

Hi Jeff,
Totally agree with you that a sum_distinct aggregation function would help in a lot of cases!

Let me add it to our product backlog and raise it with the team. Will get back to you when there’s any update.
