I’m adding headlines on my dashboard and on some devices the text is cut off. If the text widget is full width, make the widget grow vertically as required to show the entire content, or scale down the content.

Recently, we made an update on the scaling of markdown content in text widgets. Read more here: 
March UX roundup - New improvements - Product Releases - Holistics Community. This update should make markdown content easier to read on different screen sizes and resolutions.
Please note that you still need to adjust the size of text widgets to show the entire content.

hopefully dashboards as code will fix this. the text area really needs an option that prevents clipping in the final layout.

Dashboard as-code can address this well with the Canvas layout (Hint: you can even add custom backgrounds to your texts and dashboards)
