We’re excited to announce Quick Table Styling, a new feature that makes table customization easier for everyone.
While you could previously style tables using code with our Theme-based Table Styling feature, we understand the need for a simpler and faster approach. That’s why we’ve created this solution, enabling all users to design visually appealing tables with just a few clicks.
Simply open any table in the editor, then look for the “Styles” tab in the formatting toolbar. Once there, you’ll see our new Quick Table Styling options:
- Table color
: Choose colors for your headers, rows, and columns with one click - our smart system automatically applies appropriate shading. - Border customization
: Easily modify which borders appear in your table. - Text & spacing presets
: Select from three text and spacing presets (compact, default, or wide) to match your content needs.
Note: Any styling you apply through Quick Table Styling will override table styles defined at the Themes level.
