If you’ve ever clicked through the calendar just to pick “last 7 days”, or had to look up what phrase to type for year-to-date, this one’s for you.
We’re adding two things to the date picker:
- Quick presets - clickable options for common ranges (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Month to date, Year to date), so you don’t have to type or remember any phrasing
- Shorter typed shorthands for rolling ranges, if you prefer typing:
ytd,mtd, andwtd
Existing long-form natural language phrases still work too - fully additive. This is part of a broader date picker redesign we’re working on. Let us know if there are other shorthands or presets you’d find useful!
