We’ve expanded our copy capabilities :scissors: with Quick Actions in the Canvas Dashboard, which offers a faster and more intuitive way to reuse content across your dashboards.

What’s included

:scissors: Full copy operations suite

  • Actions available: Copy, Copy to, Duplicate, Cut, Move to
  • Applicable to: Block :ice_cube: | Groups of blocks :brick: | Tabs :bookmark_tabs: | Dashboards :bar_chart:
  • Work across: Same tab :arrow_right: Different tabs :arrow_right: Different dashboards

:keyboard: Keyboard shortcuts: Work at speed with Cmd/Ctrl+C , Cmd/Ctrl+V , Cmd/Ctrl+X , and Cmd/Ctrl+D
:round_pushpin: Easy access via Context menu: All actions now available in the context menu for better visibility.
:brain: Smart mapping behavior No more surprises—mappings now behave consistently whether you’re copying within a tab or across dashboards. Custom mappings are preserved when it makes sense, reset when it doesn’t.

:bulb: Note: Action availability differs by object type. Some actions (like Cut) are only available at the block level, not for tabs or dashboards.
