Early announcement:

Still leveraging on our powerful AQL, you will soon be able to create Moving Calculations in your visualizations with just a few clicks :clap:

Our Moving Calculations will cover the most common analytics use cases such as displaying a Moving Average Trend Line, or calculating cumulative Running Total, and more!

This feature will work with various visualizations: Tables, Pivot Tables, Line, Column, Bar, Area, Combination Charts, and Metric Sheets.

AQL used for Moving Calculations: AMQL | Window Functions

Our targeted release: Q3 2024.

This is fantastic! One thing I’d like to suggest - we very much have a weekday based business cycle, where every Saturday and Sunday we have a big decline in activity. So we like to do 7 day moving averages for a few of our metrics to eliminate those outlier days. Would it be possible to extend the -3 / +3 to -7 / +7?

Great question! It’s not super obvious but you can actually type whatever number you want in the “previous” and “next” input boxes :wink: I hope that helps!
