Launched: Hiding columns in Table Visualization 🥷

Hi forks

We’re excited to announce a new feature that allows you to hide columns from your tables, making it easier to focus on what matters most.

This feature is designed to help in two key ways:

  1. Simplify your data view: You can now temporarily hide columns that aren’t relevant to your current task, giving you a cleaner and more focused view of your data.
  2. Sort by hidden fields: Even when columns are hidden, you can still sort tables by those fields, enabling you to organize your data without cluttering the visualization.

For more information, please visit our public doc here: Data Table | Holistics Docs (4.0).

Note:

  • Hidden fields will still appear in Excel and CSV export files for now. However, they will be removed in an upcoming update.
  • This is an aesthetics feature, not a security feature. Hiding a column will remove it from the user’s report view and export, but the data is still accessible and not restricted in any way.
