Is it possible to hide the Control Indicator in Canvas Dashboard widgets?

I would like to hide control indicators on widgets for users who do not need to know some of the complexities happening “behind the scenes.” This feature exists for legacy dashboards:

In canvas dashboards I only see the option to hide the entire Block Title or the Action Menu. Any chance there is a way to hide the control indicators? Or will be in the future?
