These are some updates of Holistics in November 2021
New data centers
We are glad to announce that our team has already supported two new data centers in Europe and the United States of America.
For more information, check out our public doc here: Holistics’s servers
Please note that the automated migration process is still under development. Thus, in case you want to switch to a new data center, you need to migrate your data from Singapore to the new one manually .
For more information about the migration process, please contact us via [email protected].
New Timezone Settings (beta)
This feature will help you change the timezone where your data is processed and displayed.
For example, if your business operates in Singapore, you will probably want every calculation to be handled in UTC+08:00.
The beta version only supports PostgreSQL, Redshift, BigQuery and Snowflake (we’re working on the other ones). For more information, please read our public doc here: Timezone Settings
If you would like to join our beta, please contact us via [email protected]
With dbt integration, we are providing a more seamless and connected data workflow between your current dbt project and the BI layer. You will be able to expose your dbt’s metadata (models’ description or columns’ description) to your business users easily.
For more information, you can read our public doc here: How to integrate dbt project with Holistics
