We’ve started noticing that when downloading excel exports of our reports we often get stale data that does not match what’s being displayed in the browser.

Thanks for raising the issue! Just to clarify, did you see the stale data first, then see the refreshed data in the dashboard, or is the other way around? Also, do you have insights on the timing of the data updates in your databases/data warehouses?

The data in the browser is fresh, but the download is stale. I can refresh the data in the web UI, try the download again and I still get stale data.
The database used in the data connection is updated every hour, and the stale export was over a day stale.
