We use data alerts to automate some messages into Slack for our operations team.
Currently it is not possible to chose which days the data alert is ran on. This means we send notifications every day, including weekends, whereas we’d only want to alert during the working days (Monday - Friday)
It would be great if you could select which days the alert condition should be evaluated, and only send the alert on those days to reduce notifications over the weekend!
I have been able to set up somewhat of a hack to work around this.
Create a custom dimension
Include dimension in table
Include condition in data alert
However it would be much easier to have this built into the alert itself!

Instead of choosing daily option, have you checked the Option Weekly Frequency but de-selecting Saturday and Sunday?
Thank you for your response - that is exactly what I was looking for. Totally my bad for not digging a bit deeper into the other options. Somehow I read weekly as once per week, which in hindsight, makes no sense!
