It would be incredibly valuable to have a REST API endpoint for querying Holistics datasets programmatically. A CUBE-style API would unlock major benefits, including:

  • Automated and flexible reporting
  • Integrations with external applications
  • Unit testing for measures, metrics, and other data assets
  • More adaptable and developer-friendly workflows

An official DATA API endpoint would elevate Holistics from a reporting tool to a true data platform—giving developers and analysts far more power and flexibility.

This feature would assure more reliable and accurate metrics through the ability to unit test dataset logic directly.
