Hi community,

“Something has changed within us,” and it shows in this month’s UX updates. We’re helping you defy a little gravity in your daily work with a few refined details.

General UX & UI enhancements

  • New illustrations - Added a fresh set of visuals to guide you as you build your relationships and charts. They’re here to make your experience easier, and prettier.

  • Badge component for exploration error pill - Changed the error pill to Badge component to ensure consistency.

  • [Coming soon] Control block width - Adjust the width of controls to fill the entire block for better alignment in dashboard.

Reporting

  • Pinned dashboards on mobile - Updated the Pinned section on Home to make it more responsive and easier to scan.

  • Hoverable tooltip for filter blocks - Enabled hovering on filter block tooltips, making it easier to highlight and copy filter values.

  • Long description in Block preferences - Fixed a bug that caused long descriptions in block preferences to hide the Save button.

Development

  • Creating data models in an existing dataset - Enabled creating table and query models directly within an existing dataset, so they’re instantly included with no extra steps needed.

  • [Coming soon] Standardize UX copy for Custom label - Unified ‘Rename’ with ‘Custom Label’ when updating field names to keep things consistent.

That’s it for this month! A few small changes, we hope, that make a lasting difference for good. Your feedback and suggestions keep us moving forward, so stay tuned as more updates and improvements are on the way. :broom:
