# Will cross model expression be enabled in the near future?

Hi @michael.mccann,

Cross-model calculation has officially been supported via our AQL Expression.  
You can refer to our post [here](https://community2.holistics.io/t/upcoming-our-brand-new-analytics-query-language-aql/1533/3) for more information.

However, do note that our AQL Expression is only supported in version 4.0 so if you’re in version 3.0, you would need to [migrate to version 4.0](https://docs.holistics.io/as-code/3.0-to-4.0-migration).
