Launched: Better way to write and iterate on your AQL metrics - Return AQL as a Table

,

Hi Holistics Community

We’ve been chatting with many of you and we totally get it - Writing AQL queries can be challenging at times because you can’t see the intermediate tables created during the process of building a metric.

But hey, good news is on the horizon! We’re super excited to share that we’re creating something special: Return AQL Metric as a Table.

:framed_picture: Picture this: being able to see and test each piece of your AQL separately, so you’ll have the power to check each step before diving in.

:camera: You can check our demo video below for more information.

Do note that showing them as json is just our first step. We will definitely improve to show them as table/list for easier consumption later.

And remember, this is just the beginning! We’re all about listening to your feedback and making sure our AQL definition process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

If you have any questions or ideas? We’re all ears!

Hey everyone,

Exciting news! Remember when we mentioned returning metrics as json? Well, that was just the beginning. We’re now taking it a step further by enhancing the presentation of metrics as a table.

Our next move is to showcase json metric types in a list format, designed to give you, our incredible metrics builders, a smoother and more intuitive user experience.
