[Launched] 🔐 Configure MCP access per user

Admins can now configure MCP access separately from in-app AI access, per user or group.

Previously, one combined toggle granted a user both AI access inside Holistics and AI access via MCP together.

Now, granting AI access to a user or group lets you choose the scope:

  • In-app only - use AI inside Holistics.
  • In-app & MCP - also connect an AI client like Claude directly to Holistics via MCP.

This helps you grant MCP access only to users you trust to use an external AI client responsibly.

Quick update on this - configuring MCP access per user or group is now live! :tada:

Head to Organization settings → AI settings → User access to set it up. Nothing else has changed from the original description - grant a user or group In-app only or In-app & MCP, with In-app only as the safe default.
