# Dashboard lazy-loading: Do not run dashboard on first load

Hi all,

I’m happy to announce that we have recently added a setting in Dashboard Preferences that lets you **_disable_ Dashboard Autoload** and avoid spawning unnecessary Jobs! 🚀

Here is how a Dashboard with **Autoload disabled** would appear on first view:

Kindly note that the setting will **not** be applied in Shareable Links, Embed Links, or when the Dashboard URL has pre-applied filters.
